Tonight two Tea Party candidates won GOP primaries.
One of them is Christine O’Donnell, who won the GOP Senate primary in Delaware, and who is an extreme social conservative.
The other is Carl Paladino, who won the GOP primary for governor of New York. It seems that in terms of sexual mores, Paladino is O’Donnell’s polar opposite.
The right is mad as hell, and the list of things they’re mad about is amorphous at best.
The left is mad as hell, too. Mad at Obama, he’s not bringing change to Washington as quickly as they expected. And mad at the right, because trying to find the logic behind the right’s list of grievances is an inherently infuriating experience for progressives.
It makes me wonder—who wins when neither left nor right can think straight, because they both have so much anger surging through their brains?
